Yes……..What’s That Fruit!!!!!!!!!
Parking round here can be quite a challenge, so it’s no surprise that I’ve not noticed a fruit tree that’s round the corner from us – although I probably whizz past it twenty times a day looking for a parking space. Well, yesterday I parked, got out and discovered all these fruits on the grass verge. I thought at first that they were large cherries or small plums, but I think I would recognise either of them. They are rock solid – even the windfall ones. Are they sloes? Damsons? Something that I can cook with? Yes, I know I’m a city girl, but if anyone can identify them, I’d be very grateful.
